Who?
All are invited: families, children, teenagers, young people, young adults, grandparents, single people and older people from anywhere in Europe or the rest of the world! Registrations can be accepted until 15 May 2007.
Programme
Start of the Festival: Wednesday 1 August 2007, 20:00, with a celebratory opening service including music, songs, performances, ecumenical guests, and speeches.
Daily programme from Thursday to Saturday:
09.00 Wake up and praise
09.45 Bible study in different styles; it is thought that there will be special groups
for children and young people.
11.00-12.00 Wesley groups (small groups of 10-20 people)
12.00 Lunch time. Lunch on campus
15.00–18.30 Different workshops (see your programme booklet)
20.00 Large events, organised by different organisations of our Church in Europe
– the European Methodist Youth Council, the European Commission for Mission,
musical event to commemorate the 300th birthday of Charles Wesley.
From 22.00 „Late night café“ with music, discussion, drinks and snacks.
10.00 on Sunday 5 August 2007: Closing celebration with a renewal of our covenant, communion and commissioning. Further details will appear in the programme booklet.
Interpretation/Translation
The main languages will be English, German and Slovakian. Other translations will be offered according to need. We want to understand each other and will use good translators and modern technology to facilitate this.
