United Methodist pastor sentenced for granting church asylum

A UMC Pastor in Germany is facing a penalty for granting "church asylum" to an Iranian man. Rev Schörk, who has the full support of his community and wider church, said “There is an urgent need for a new agreement between church and state.” Read more here.
